I first met Terrace Crawford, a social media consultant and respected voice in the youth worker community, back at the first Whiteboard Sessions in 2008. Terrace is a great guy and he knows his stuff, so it’s my pleasure to introduce you to his brand new book: #GoingSocial: A Practical Guide on Social Media for Church Leaders (Amazon, B&N).
I had the opportunity to write an endorsement for the book, and this what I had to say:
If you’re on the fence about using social media in ministry, #GoingSocial is a push in the right direction. If you’re unsure about how to get started, #GoingSocial is the primer you need. If your social media efforts aren’t producing any engagement, #GoingSocial is the guidebook you’ve been waiting for.
My guess is that you or someone you know could benefit from this book, so we put together a little giveaway. We’ve got two copies of #GoingSocial to give away — all you have to do to enter is leave a comment, any comment, by 12pm Central on Friday, November 2. From there, we’ll choose two commenters at random and send them each a copy of the book.
Sound easy enough? I hope so. Now, get commenting!
