Lent has been a big deal at my church the last few years, which has been a fascinating experience for me as someone who grew up without that kind of thing mixed into my evangelicalism. Anyway, this year our teaching team walked through the book of Hosea as an exploration of God’s love and faithfulness in the face of our sin and waywardness.
To complement the series, the creative team at Irving Bible Church conceived of a series of videos that would attempt put flesh (so to speak) on the themes of Hosea’s story. I’ve included some of these videos in past installments of Videos of the Week, but I figured the series merited a post of its own. Here are parts 1-6 of the Hosea Love Story:
Nice, huh? From the perspective of a churchgoer, these videos have been very moving each week during Lent, so I have to say thank you to the team at IBC for creating something so beautiful and compelling. Well done.
