Step 1: Supplies
Purchase tech green photo paper for $45 which is typically used for photography backdrops. You can purchase it from B&H or other suppliers. The one I purchased came in a roll 9ft wide by 36 feet long. Grab some gaff tape from your favorite stage crew employee at the church. Grab some thumbtacks and some scissors from the receptionist.

Step 2: Tape and Hang The Green Screen
Roll out the paper. Cut it in half so that you have 2 sheets approximately 9ft wide by 18ft long. Tape them together so that you have an 18x18ft piece of green paper. Don’t over use on the tape.

It takes some TLC (tender love and care) to hang and may need more taping at some point. Make sure to tape along the top edge to reinforce the paper where you will stick the thumbtacks.

Find the Senior Pastor, the Business Office Manager, and the head audio Tech to help you hang the paper. (I’m kidding. You’ll probably need to stroll down to the youth department to find someone who can help you.)

Step 3: Start shooting!

The Final Product

Notes: The paper takes some serious TLC to hang at that width. A 9ft screen is a piece of cake. Don’t be too concerned about the seams where the paper lines up – although anything you can do before the shoot to prevent additional post work is advised. You’ll notice my seams keyed out without me having to do any masking. I used Keylight in After Effects to accomplish this.
