Think Big

We got a great initial response to Camron Ware’s “Visual Worship” article in our Nov/Dec issue, and from what I heard, a lot of churches were interested in incorporating Camron’s ideas into their worship space. Yesterday I got an email from Camron about a church in California that recently completed an “architectural projector install”–First Baptist Church of Lodi. As you can tell from the pictures below, they’ve embraced Camron’s technique and run with it. Remember, when you’re thinking about how to use media effectively at your church, it can pay to think big.

To see more pictures of FBC Lodi’s new install, along with other churches Camron has helped out, click here.

Has your church tried something similar? If so, feel free to share some pics in the Comments.

Wow, just… wow. Amazing work, Cameron. It’s a HoloChurch.

I can only imagine the projectors required to fill the big side spaces – very wide angle and rather bright.

these pics look brighter than ibc…. is there a lumens difference?

These are actually the exact same projectors we are using at Irving Bible Church for our architectual projection. No special lenses. It’s all in how you set them up and mask them. They look brighter because they are not shooting quite as far, about 30 feet shorter.

This is fantastic. We have not tried anything to this scale, but appreciate you sharing the ideas.

If you guys have any questions, please feel free to email me (dan@fbclodi.org) about any specifics (those pictures are from our church). Camron is such a great help, I can’t recommend him highly enough to help you get this going at your church if you are interested. Also, it’s not nearly as expensive as you might think.

I am from FBC and Dan used this projector system and the images to completely change our worship experience for the better! It looks amazing every Sunday and many people, young and old, are raving about it. Definitely worth it.

FBC Lodi, CA is a perfect example of a church that saw the potential, the beauty, and cost-effectiveness of it. They have a great team of people who “get it”. Feel free to email me if you have anymore questions!

Great stuff! Would love to have that installed at our church, or even in our ministries!!!

What kind of cost is a church or youth ministry looking to do this kind of install?

Kevin, shoot me an email on http://www.visualworshiper.com, and I can best answer your question.
