Context and Voice

I first met Vince Marotte through Echo (he’s leading a breakout session again this year), and I really appreciate his passion for serving the Church. Vince is the Internet Pastor at Gateway Church in Austin, Texas, and he just released a new ebook titled Context and Voice. Vince was kind enough to provide me with a complimentary copy of the book, and then he was kind enough to talk with me about it for a little while.

The book is a quick read, and I enjoyed it. Vince gets the ball rolling on a vital conversation, and he touches on foundational elements for effective church communication.

In the video below, Vince and I discuss his role as an Internet Pastor, why he wrote the book, who he wrote it for, and two of the insightful metaphors at the heart of the book. Watch the video below, then head to ContextandVoice.com to get a sample chapter and purchase the ebook.

We share your vision to create content for distributing to hyper-local communities. Could be a model for the next wave of using digital media to impact cities with the gospel. Good interview.
