Where Did Your Art Go?

I just came across an inspiring and convicting quote from Seth Godin’s Linchpin courtesy of Ben Arment:

Where did your art go while you were tweeting?

That single question said a few things to me:

  • You’re called to create, to make something; you’re not just called to keep up with what others are making.
  • In between creative bursts, do that which inspires, energizes, and equips you; don’t settle for doing something that merely distracts you.
  • Information is good; knowledge is better. Information comes from reading, listening, and watching; knowledge comes from doing.

Let’s make something today.
