This will be a brief post, but a good one. I wanted to pull back the curtain a little bit on what we have in store for Collide readers. In particular, I wanted to tell you a little about the columnists who will be a part of Collide‘s first year.
First up is Tim Stevens, executive pastor at Granger Community Church. Granger is doing a lot of innovative things as a church, and Tim is a big part of that. He calls engaging culture through media one of his passion areas, so we’re happy to give him a forum to write about that. You can get to know Tim at LeadingSmart.com.
Next is Mark Steele of Steelehouse Productions. Mark is a great producer, director, writer, and actor. His first book, Flashbang, was hilarious. See the great stuff Mark has produced at Steelehouse.com.
Our third columnist is Gary Molander of Floodgate Productions. Gary creates great videos with his team at Floodgate and leads worship at his church. At FloodgateProductions.com you can get a feel for his talents (“Doubter’s Confession” is a great video short to start with).
Last, but certainly not least, is Matthew Paul Turner. Matthew has written several books, including The Christian Culture Survival Guide. Matthew was the editor of CCM for two years and blogs regularly at JesusNeedsNewPR.com.
Well, those are our columnists. If you have the time, get to know them through their various online ventures over the next few weeks. Hopefully you will be as excited about their contributions to Collide as we are.
